Ruppert is a charming male dog who originally comes from a shelter in northern Portugal. He spent the past year living on a farm, but without clear structure or human guidance, he went looking for his own adventures and occasionally explored the surrounding neighborhood.

With us, he shows himself to be a very affectionate and people-oriented dog who greets his humans with a loving little “song.” He likes children very much and meets them in a friendly and generous way. He politely ignores cats and other farm animals, and he is extremely compatible with other dogs—preferring to resolve any tension through play.

Ruppert is now looking for people who will share the joy of new experiences with him, encourage him, and provide him with security through clear structure. Despite his size, he is a pleasant companion who enjoys athletic activities just as much as cozy cuddle time.
