Berta is a very special little dog who is making great progress in her foster home. She most likely grew up without close contact with people and was very shy at first—preferring to retreat into a corner. But in the meantime, she has begun to build trust and is showing more and more of her lovable nature.

Step by step, she is discovering how wonderful life indoors can be: cuddles, walks on a leash, and playing together are no longer unfamiliar to her and are bringing her increasing joy. She especially enjoys cozy evenings on the sofa and has already become a very relaxed little couch companion during TV time. Every small step forward makes her shine—and us too, as we watch her continue to blossom.

Berta gets along wonderfully with other dogs and plays joyfully with her canine companions. With her soft coat, funny upright ears, and short (presumably docked) tail, she is also a real eye-catcher.
