Meet our dog:
Dali

Description
Dali was captured in northern Portugal at the beginning of August together with four siblings, after spending her first months of life completely isolated on a remote property.
Now Dali is showing what a soft and sensitive soul she has: cautious, full of heart, and willing to bond once she is given a sense of safety. She needs more time in new situations, but once she trusts her person, she blossoms beautifully. Dali orients herself very clearly toward people. She seeks closeness and stays close to her trusted person—even in fenced free-run areas. New stimuli still unsettle her, and she sometimes expresses insecurity by barking, but she can be redirected easily, as she is gentle, sensitive, and responsive.
With other dogs, Dali is socially friendly, and around farm animals she has shown no issues. At this stage, she would benefit greatly from a confident resident dog, who could help her ease into our world and support her in becoming more confident and brave.

Desired environment
Dali is a female dog who wants to be guided with quiet tones. She responds quickly, clearly, and sensitively to her people and needs an environment without too much hustle and bustle. Hectic settings, city life, or noisy households would currently be overwhelming for her. What Dali needs now are dog-experienced people who can take the lead in a calm, confident way—people who understand that a dog like her wants to take steps forward but needs support to be able to do so. In the right hands, Dali will become a loyal, gentle companion.
